Bowhunting for axis deer during the rut can be a fantastic way to enjoy a off season Summertime hunt. Sitting over a water trough in June perched in a ladder stand 14 yards away provided multiple opportunities at trophy axis bucks in the first 2 sits for this bowhunter, Brad Rucks from Deer & Deer Hunting filming for his Tv show Modern Hunter.
