Axis Deer Hunting Ranch

Our private ranch here in Sutton County, near Sonora, Texas has a extremely high axis deer population. These exotic game animals almost outnumber the whitetail deer in this area. It could also be argued they do outnumber the whitetail deer population in this area, and that's saying something. This area of Texas has one of the highest whitetail deer populations in the World. Texas don't keep state records of axis deer numbers or other exotic game animals so it's hard to say. Although, just look at some of these trail camera photos and it's pretty clear the axis deer numbers on our ranch is extremely high, with lots of trophy bucks.
