This view is from a ladder stand overlooking a HB feeder filled with protein and corn. There are 3 stands overlooking this feeder for different winds. There is a archery stand set in the line of live oaks directly behind the feeder under 25 yards away from the HB. There is a tripod stand set 115 yards to the left on the side of the ridge with excellent views of the surrounding bottomland, hillsides, and feeder. This view pictured is from a ladder stand set for a South wind and is 65 yards from the feeder. This stand can be hunted with a rifle, or bow. Broadcasting corn from our tailgate feeder on the Polaris Ranger will suck animals away from the feeder and position then for a archery shot within 20-30 yards. This trifecta of stands and variable hunting methods allows for just about any condition to take advantage of harvesting Texas trophy whitetails and exotics hitting this feeder daily.
