Here is one of our comfortable elevated Redneck box blinds for your hunting enjoyment. This blind overlooks a 2,000 lb broadcast feeder filled with protein and corn for year round hunting opportunities. This ranch is very unique with lots of history. Our hunting ranch sets on the grounds with remnants of the tiny old town of Owensville. You can also see the old abandon high fence that's been torn down in most places in the foreground. This high fence was from one of the original exotic wild game ranches from back in the 70's when exotics were introduced to Texas. There are only a couple small, hundred yard stretches remaining scattered over a large area, most spots were torn out or have large holes. A fire burned the area and wrecked the high fence never to be repaired again. Now, our ranch is located in the one of the most highly populated areas of free range exotics in the state of Texas! This area offers the highest concentration of free range axis deer in the world! Other exotics that were "accidently" free to roam the Hill Country from this old operation over 40 years ago are sika deer, blackbuck antelope, fallow, aoudad, and Corsican rams, Mouflon, Texas Dall Sheep, and Black Hawaiian sheep. This area is also loaded with whitetail deer, hogs, and Rio Grande turkeys. Being the center of one of the original wild game ranches in Texas is why we have so many free range exotics in this area today. Along with the native whitetail, plenty of turkey and hogs, we can offer you a hunters paradise for your next trophy adventure.
